Venison Tasting Nights at Hugletts Farm

Prepared and cooked by London’s Lottie Brook, a very experienced and popular private chef, we invite small groups into our home to experience delicate and delicious ways of preparing venison.

In general, venison is a terrible word, after a lot of research we found common words and phrases of “gamey”, “dry” and “I never know how to cook with it” - this sums up everything from 28 day hung rutting red stags, to the more subtle and tender fallow deer we enjoy in the South East.

It is therefore our mission to make this incredibly sustainable and healthy meat part of your everyday balanced diet.

When you arrive we will talk about our herd management, meat preparation in the larder and the kitchen where Lottie will then take over and serve 4 courses, with or without a paired wine (chosen by Douglas Hinckley, a seasoned wine drinker!)

Our aim is to send you home with a full belly, a lot of laughter, some great cooking ideas and most importantly, an idea of how you can easily prepare and use this incredibly versatile meat.

 Dinners run on the advertised dates and are capped between 6 and 8 people.

 £135 with paired wines per person and £105 without. All prices include VAT.
